The detection bracelets – most common current solution – are often insufficient and unreliable. Clients may take them off or forget them. Sewing chips into the clothing is demanding.
Reliable Detection with an Unique Camera
We have newly integrated the function of monitoring the exit of the building into HelpLivi system. It is proceeded by a special camera with the function of a face recognition. This camera captures people moving in the exit area, even if they are not looking directly at the camera or when visibility is poor (e.g. at night).
If the person is approaching the exit and wants to leave, the camera recognizes them and immediately sends the information to the HelpLivi system via a special communication gateway. The staff is immediately warned who is leaving and by which exit. They can go to the exact person and resolve the situation.

How Monitoring Is Done at the Senecura Senior Center in Modřice (Czech Republic)
At the Senecura Senior Center in Modřice (Czech Republic) they were struggling with the same problem. “In our Senior Center, we started intensively dealing with the issue of safe movement of clients with disorientation problems. We were looking for a solution that would help us ensure them the safety, but at the same time approach to the client individually, based on risk factors.” says Martin Krňávek, director of the Senecura Modřice Senior Center.
We proposed the detection of people using a camera to the director. We installed both the camera and the communication gateway and trained the administrator how to set it. Currently, the entire system is fully functional and successfully detects people.

A very easy setup will allow you to insert a client with a risk factor into the system and then detect their departure from the Senior Center using the camera installed. Information about the client’s departure from the facility is received by the staff in the mobile application, which is why they can react very quickly,” adds Martin Krňávek. “Currently, we can ensure safe movement of clients even outside of our Senior Center.”
